Prep for OPEN HOUSE/POEM in your Pocket Day


First, we walked in class and Ms. Nakada told us to take out our binder reminders. She played the take a minute video. After, Travis and Sam went up and read their blog. Ms. Nakada told them to choose someone and they put Chloe and I on the wheel four times and Issabella ten times. It landed on Chloe. Then, Ms. Nakada told us to take out our English Notebooks to write the Question: "How can you develop mental roughness?" We answered, "Do something that is hard." After that, we read the poem "How Do I Love Thee?" by Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The three word summary was " Faith-love-Grace." After, Ms. Nakada told us to do our Book Bracket: sweet 16. Ms. Nakada asked who wanted to pass out papers so it can go easier. Last, we did our open house poems for our parents, the bell rang and we left to lunch.
