week 13: GQQL

NaPoWriMo! - writer's workshop 

HW: RJ 13.2 read & summarize a poem :)

First, we wrote our agenda after that we took a minute to listen to a poem. We did the wheel and it landed on Travis, but Zaire couldn't shut up and he got choose to do the daily blog:(. We started doing the lines for this week: "Because You Asked..." by Howard Nemerov and read a poem. The poem was about the difference between prose and poetry and rain and snow. We did our week 13.2 reading journal the three words that summarize the poem we read are: snow, rain, and poetry we did our poetry drafts the visuals were rain,snow and a bird. The three poem prompts were, tell a childhood secret, from where I'm sitting, and retell a fable.  When we finished with our poems we put our English notebooks away and took out our chromebooks to vote on book bracket after you voted we packed up and left for the day.
